What is a GSTIN?

GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) is a unique 15-digit alphanumeric code assigned to every business or individual registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime in India.   • 14th Digit: Currently reserved for future use (default is 'Z').
  • 15th Digit: A checksum character used for verifying the validity of the GSTIN.
